Ceramic processes applied to amplifier media for high power lasers: potentialities and limits. (Poster)

Résumé

This study shows that a perfect control of each steps of the elaboration process (powder synthesis, shaping and sintering) is needed to avoid defects affecting the transparency of Nd:YAG ceramics developed for high power laser applications.
