Design of highly integrated filters for multiradio front-ends - Application to future wireless home-networking communications

Résumé

In this paper, we propose the design of low-cost highly integrated microwave filters for future wireless homenetworks, within set-top-box. In this work, microwave filters for WiFi communications have been designed using low-cost planar technologies. These designs are now improved in terms of performances (mainly in terms of selectivity) exploiting either resistive cross-couplings (concept of lossy filters) or mixing technologies for increasing the average unloaded Q (inverse concept).
